A severe car accident threw/left chaos onto/across the highway this afternoon. A detached auto going in the direction of the suburbs when it suddenly swerved/veered. The car immediately/soon barreled into the shoulder, launching debris across the roadway. Emergency responders/services arrived quickly/shortly on the spot to treat the individual. The
